Take a look at those preseason stats. The big 3 are averaging around 30minutes in the preseason and looking good. I guess I am not sure, is Doc Rivers forcing them to put a lot of time on the court together to build their chemistry or do the big 3 refuse to come out?
Either way, it's great. The Celts have been looking good and the plan seems to be working. On Friday night the Celts had almost 60 points on the board by halftime. Yeah I know, Varejao and Pavlovic are holding out on their contracts putting even more pressure on James. If you look closely at the numbers, I think we'll see the type of game Garnett will bring this year, | At the Half | Minutes | 17 | Points | 11 | Assists | 7 | Rebounds | 8 | | | End of Game | Minutes | 32 | Points | 21 | Assists | 10 | Rebounds | 13 | | | Average from 06-07 | Minutes | 39 | Points | 22 | Assists | 4.1 | Rebounds | 12.8 | | Triple double. Need I say more. The interesting thing about KG has been the continued evolution of his passing game. Being a big man who can pass from the post is priceless and Boston will reap the rewards. With 10 assists in tonights game, you know guys like Perkins are going to have to love having KG around. After all, double teams and pressure on KG will benefit some other players, so they better finish. Next up, Celtics versus Agent Zero. Let's see how Rondo can deal with Hibachi.
