I may have overrated the Suns, and the Spurs are right now number one, yet I stick with Phoenix in the end. The Celtics are a powerhouse, the three new players Pierce, Garnett, and Allen make a pleasant addition where it is definitely needed. The Celtics will make the playoffs but not any further than the second round. The Blazers after a horrendous 0-3 start have won three straight shockers and have proven to be a possible contender compared to the last few seasons. I agree with almost all of the power rankings except the Jazz after the Mavericks, with all starters scoring in double-digits the Jazz may be underestimated. The Mavericks also made some risky moves giving Harris a five year $42 million contract; I don’t think he is worth all that money.

A great start to the season!
